Primary Plant Based | Restaurant in Philadelphia, PA
WELCOME TO PRIMARY!
We're Happy You're Here :)
ABOUT
Health-forward vegan fare by plant-based Chef Mark McKinney. Locally sourced ingredients with global influences. Warm, intimate and curated space in a casual and inclusive environment. PRIMARY wants to inspire healthy communities by connecting people to real food.
While he was cooking at Khyber Pass Pub, Mark McKinney ran a vegan take-out pop-up out of the kitchen. Now he’s turned it into a full-scale restaurant of his own, serving hearty, internationally inspired vegan fare — and let’s just say that even the carnivores are coming back for more.
Located on the corner of Girard Ave. & Hancock St. Street Parking usually available. Nearest pay lot - 1300 Frankford Ave. Wine & Spirits Premium store right across the street. Multiple local breweries within walking distance as well.
Beginning 5/17 we will require $10 per bottle corkage fee.
Call ahead if you require special accommodations due to allergy or illness restrictions. We can not modify our food on the fly. Thank you.
